(Re) claiming Indigenous Health

Our aim is to make changes in our public health practice that center families, communities and Native Nations as the drivers of healing, health and wellbeing. To do this we return to the teachings, lessons, and knowledge practices that guide and ensure the health and wellbeing of our peoples. This is a reclamation of Indigenous health, knowledge, and systems.

These are 5 modules designed to make connections for your work in community health and wellness:

  • Presentation of Modules
  • Modules 1 Our Stories, Our Journeys
  • Module 2 Social Determinants of Health Frameworks
  • Module 3 Indigenous Social Determinants of Health
  • Module 4 Structural/Systemic Determinants
  • Module 5 Alignment for community healing, health, and wellness
