Urban Indian Health Institute (UIHI) serves Urban Indian Health Programs nationwide. UIHI conducts research and evaluation, collects and analyzes data, and provides disease surveillance to strengthen the health of American Indian and Alaska Native communities. The "Physically Distant but Socially Close" provides ideas to adapt cultural practices to remain “physically distant but socially close.” This tool may help guide organizational efforts to improve morale among staff and in the community.
